Picture released of woman we are seeking as part of investigation into assault in Allenton

We have released a picture of a woman who may be able to assist our enquiries in relation to an assault in Allenton.

The incident happened when two women were walking their dogs and the two pets got into a fight.

The two dog owners then got into an argument which resulted in one of them allegedly punching the other in the arm.

The incident happened close to the Allenton Local shop on Osmaston Road on Saturday 16 August between 7pm and 7.32pm.

Officers have made extensive enquiries and are now turning to the public for help.

We have released a picture of a woman we would like to speak with in relation to the incident.

We appreciate the incident happened two months ago and the image is not the clearest but we hope someone may recognise the woman and come forward.
